The 115KV substation project, including design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, delivery, installation and trial operation

【Project Overview 】
After being severely damaged by the hurricane, the power grid in Puerto Rico urgently needs to be rebuilt and enhanced in terms of its disaster resilience. The 115KV substation project we undertook features an all-round reinforced design: the steel structure adopts a higher wind resistance level, the equipment selection focuses on corrosion prevention and sealing, and important systems are equipped with redundant backups.
At the same time, we integrated distributed energy access points and a faster fault isolation system, aiming to build a more resilient grid node. From the design stage, we maintained close communication with the client and the community, and the final delivery was not just a substation, but also a key cornerstone for the local community to regain confidence and move towards a sustainable energy system in the future.
